Economics:
I am a public economist, and my research focuses on households taxation. I use and I contribute to the microsimulation software OpenFisca. I now have a thorough knowledge of the French tax-benefit system, as well as French administrative household databases.I also have interest towards equality of opportunity issues, determinants of fertility, and the timing of taxation. Python and Data Science:
During my PhD, I invested in modern data science tools which are becoming common standards in the industry. I conduct my analysis using Python, especially Pandas and the Statsmodels packages. This allows me to work efficiently on medium size (up to 20 Go) complex administrative databases.Moreover, I think that the usage of open-source software is critical for research reproducibility in economics which reinforces my confidence in the choice of these tools.
